Warranty Policy

What is the weightvest.com warranty policy?

The V-Force®, V-Max™, and BOX® weight vests purchased on Weightvest.com are warranted to the original owner against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. This warranty is available in the United States and Canada.

If a Weightvest.com branded weight vest covered by this warranty fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the product, without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified materials, belts, weights and workmanship are covered by this policy. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, abuse, improper care, alteration, negligence, or normal wear and tear.

For a warranty evaluation, your product must be returned directly to Weightvest.com, Warranties, 2108 W HWY 33, Rexburg Idaho, 83440. All shipping to postage must be pre-paid and insured with signature required for delivery. Weightvest.com cannot be liable for lost in-bound packages. The product you send in must be clean and free of dirt, hair, and other debris. Your product will be refused and returned to sender if it isn’t adequately cleaned up.

What is wear and tear?

The Weightvest.com lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship — no matter the age of the V-Force®, V-Max™, or BOX® weight vest, but it does not cover normal wear and tear.

Wear and tear is damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal use. Regardless of how carefully you use, or how well you care for your weight vest, it will eventually begin to show age and wear. This is true for your weight vest, your car, or the bricks on your house.

There are people still using our weight vests from the 80’s! We build them to last. If you are a very avid trainer and really work your vest hard over years and you want an upgrade, don’t worry, we’ll take good care of you. You can trade-in your old vest, keep your weights, and get a new vest at a great discount. We always appreciate customer loyalty.

What does lifetime mean?

The original owner of the V-Force® weight vest, V-Max™ weight vest, V-Max™ weight, or BOX® weight vest is covered under warranty, for the lifetime of the product.

This does not mean a human lifetime. Your weight vest will last a very long time, even though natural wear and tear unavoidably will occur. You can greatly extend the life of your weight vest by caring for it properly.

How to properly care for your weight vest?

Follow these simple guidelines to properly maintain your weight vest:

  • Don’t throw or drop your weight vest on the ground.
  • Wipe down the inside of your vest with a damp cloth after each exercise session.
  • Keep your vest dry. Lay down your vest, inside facing up, and allow it to dry after cleaning.
  • Keep the Velcro sections on the vest free of debris
  • Animals love to chew on your weight vest — don’t let them.
