  1. a must

If your're going to be running or jogging I recommend getting one of these. I never wear my 60lb short VForce without it.

  2. Make the runs as comfortable as possible

This simple and great addition makes the runs so much better by taking away some of the bounce. Well worth the additional cost.

  3. Great, takes away the bouncing

This is a little great piece of ingunuety. Completely eliminates the bouncing of the vest while running! Comfortable, you don't even know it's there. Works perfect with the 45lb vest.

  4. Helpful Accessory

I use the pad with a 50#, wide shoulder weight vest for many things including box jumps and short repeated sprints. It offers increased comfort from the padding and increased air flow to my chest keeping me a bit cooler. You have to play around with the positioning for maximum effectiveness. It makes the vest feel more secure and less tight. Vest bounces around less with the pad and allows deep breathing easier.

  5. Works well for the back, too.

I don't run with the vest; however, I do stairs - lots of stairs. As I lost weight I developed a pressure sore over my left scapula. I purchased the pad and attached it to the back of the vest - problem solved.

I highly recommend the addition of the running pad to prevent the vest's bouncing around as you job.
