Great Vest, works better than advertised
Upon receiving the vest I have used it to do my workouts which include burpees; pushups; squats and lunges. The vest sits perfectly which allows easier movements and weight distribution that’s comfortable! I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to add intensity to their workouts and get results that’s they can see and feel !!
I did some research on various weight vests and came to this one. It was more expensive than other brands, but I live by the philosophy that you pretty much always get what you pay for and you will never be disappointed with quality. The vest is comfortable, easily adjustable and so far; quite durable. It was recommended by YouTuber Brian Alsruhe; you should check him out too if you're into strength training.
very happy with this product very well-made durable fits great.just love this thing...
This is a great vest, has helped prepare for a fitness exam.
I was concerned about the price and was shopping around until I spoke to my brother. He's had one for almost 10 years and it's holding up great. After receiving mine, I could definitely tell it was well constructed.
This vest takes your Spartan training to the next level!! The ability to adjust the weights within the vest is a great feature.
Bought this vest used it a few times from tire flips, push ups, sit ups, sprawls, etc. adds that extra bit to make any body weight exercise difficult and does it well. My only gripe is the velcro strap that goes around like to slip down and makes the vest lose on one side from time to time because I'm a smaller guy. Its remedied by using the strap at more of a 45 degree angle but itd be nice if there was more hook side to the Velcro or some type of attachment to secure it better. Overall though it's great built tough and definitely worth the buy.
To the point:
Comfy: I do not use this product for long periods of time. However I have had no problem wearing this bare shirted and do not feel any excessive strain on body. Currently train at roughly 20lbs.
Works: Be it placebo effect or dedication. Doing smart weight training with the vest has helped my performance in other areas. For reference I do mostly gymnastics/bodyweight training making increasing the load on rings/pull ups an invaluable experience.
Sturdy: I have no other vests to compare, but this one does not feel cheap or that you must be gentle with it (to a reasonable degree). Only have owned this for 1 month.
Wishes: A non weight version that would allow the user to buy the weights separately at their leisure. For me I feel the 50lb will last me for my money's worth. However I may have opted for a higher capacity vest just to have the extra pouches. I hear there was mention of a trade in program of sorts.
Bottom line: Do your research. My brought me to the conclusion v-max was a top of the line quality grade.
