    Great so far

I have used this vest twice for indoor rock climbing purposes and have found it perfect. No complaints about the size, straps, weights, or comfort. It is easy to use and adjust. I would recommend like any vest not to start with full weight and allow you muscles and shoulders to adjust.

    Great product with Great service

Posted by Jason M. on 15th Oct 2016

This vest is as described, extremely well built. The basketball version did not fit me too well as it put too much pressure on my shoulders with 40 lbs attached. Weightvest.com exchanged for the narrow version with no hassle whatsoever. I'm 5'11 155 lbs, I do lots of pull ups, dips, push ups and the narrow version works well.
Great product and Great service. Thank you Weightvest.com!

    Top Quality Product

Posted by Michael on 17th May 2016

I looked at weight vests all over the internet. I was reluctant at first to purchase one from weightvest.com because they were priced significantly higher then anything else on the market. However I gritted my teeth and bought the 40 lb Basketball. I am incredibly pleased with the quality of the product....Not only is it top quality but it is also comfortable too. I am able to hike, jog, do pull-ups and push-ups. Lastly the fit allows me to be active yet avoid any uncomfortable chaffing.

    Great, well made vest!

This vest is just as well made as I was hoping it would be. My primary purpose of use is weighted calisthenics. So shoulder mobility is key for me. Having said that, this was the perfect vest for me. At the same point, since it's shoulder straps are rather narrow, which again, is good for my purposes, may not be as ideal for other if your planning on wearing it for an extended time. A model with wider shoulder straps should probably be considered if your going to wear it for more than 1.5 hrs.

    Highest quality vests on market

Posted by Mike Mezzano on 22nd Nov 2015

This is a very high quality vest you will find. I wasn't concerned with the price as much as I was the quality. Turned out they are very reasonable priced which was a bonus! I went for the short 40lb with narrow shoulders since I use it for calisthenics. It is very easy to move around in and stays very secure when doing all exercises. I went with the 40 because it was more narrow and if I ever feel I need more weight they sell a 20lb attachment weight pack making it 60lbs I could imagine I would ever need more weight than this for my size. I'm 5,7 140lb male

    well made & very durable

Definitely the best vests I've used so far. I like the basketball model less restrictive when doing over the head excercises.

Superior form, fit and function! Best in class!

I've had this vest for a few months now and I can't recommend it highly enough. I've been mainly using it for HIIT workouts and for running, particularly on the trails. While the capacity goes up to 40lbs (not including the optional attachment to increase further), I've only had it loaded at 10lbs. The quality of the vest is second to none from what I've seen. With the Pro-Glide belt upgrade, getting a custom fit to your degree of preferred snugness is easy as can be and the vest stays firmly in place. I also bought the running pad (for using during trail runs) and ordered the vest with the sweat liner which I highly recommend. The vest is pricey, especially with the add-ons, but the old addage you get what you pay for holds true here. I am usually willing to pay a premium for high quality and I'm very glad I did in this case. It is worth every penny in my opinion.
