Great vest for Thenx.
Posted by Unknown on 12th Sep 2017
This vest is perfect for so many calisthenics exercises. Solved my overtraining problem with elevated pushups. :) I saw the same vest I got in THENX's (Chris Heria's) videos on youtube. I got the Kryptek Typhon also and is exactly what I wanted. Maybe next year, I will order another 40 to slap on top of this one!

Love it! Super durable and compact.
Good Solid Product

Stitching and seems very well done. Quality should last a couple of years.
Still new to me
Posted by Unknown on 25th Jul 2017
Still new to me, but initial out of the box quality is there. The design is very superior to anything else I've seen. Even though the vest is 40 lbs, feels heavier than long vests of the same weight. Works abs more and lower back more to assist in keeping you upright. Looks great, for a weight vest reasonably comfortable. Time will tell how it holds up.
Best tactical weight vest out there.

As a Marine veteran I'll never forget how a workout could go from basic to downright difficult just by slipping on your plate vest. I guess I got nostalgic to the suck and had to find one that could fit right, take a beating and of course look right. This vest ticks those boxes and more. The only difference between this vest and my issued one is that this one is actually comfortable and I won't complain about that. If you're looking for a way to take your workout to another level and embrace the suck then you need this vest.

Great weighted workout. Comfortable while push-ups, pull ups, dips . Perfect for the Murphy.

The only reason why I give it 4 stars, is only because I haven't ran in it, yet. The quality of the vest is absolutely superb. I'm Active duty U.S Army, 11 years. I work out with this during my circuit training, and it beats me up everytime (I mean that in a good way). I highly recommend this vest; it's durable, fits perfectly and great for all workouts. Awesome weight vest
Posted by Felicia on 4th Feb 2017
The weight vest fits and sits very comfortably with little to no shifting. The weights sit on the outside of the vest so they are not pressing into your body for a smoother fit. Removable weights are legitimate and solid, not the bean bag things. They are easy to remove and adjust weight as needed. I ran 30:60's with 20lbs to start and had no issues. I completed a 3 mile walk with all 40lbs in place and was extremely pleased with the weight distribution during the walk. Definitely pleased with my purchase.
Happy with vest

Am in love with it !!!

Right out of the package......fantastic! The #40 V Force vest is well constructed, clean lines, functional and comfortable. I struggled for a long time trying and looking for a weighted vest to purchase for my Boot Camp HIIT workouts. Right before I made the mistake of ordering another brand I lucked upon Weightvest.com. The V-Force narrow shoulder I bought is fantastic. Another plus is the website has tons of support videos and they have always responded to my emails answering questions.
V Force 40lb Vest is solid!

The best endorsement I can give is that I've already told my friends about this and that they should buy. The vest is great quality and built to last. I've been out on a couple longer, rigorous trail hikes and it's absolutely doing it's job. If I was going to make a suggestion for improvement I'd ask that they add a pocket for a cell phone and also add a simple loop for a carabiner to hook onto so you can attach a water bottle to the vest itself.
Top of the line!

This ain't the average weight vest. I wanted a vest similar to a flak/plate carrier and this is it. It's robust and feels super durable. You definitely get what you pay for. I was also happy that they shipped to FPO AE. Even the packaging was quality! I'm a satisfied customer.
Absolutely love the conditioning potential
Posted by M. Elias on 28th Sep 2016
The amount of progressive conditioning potential this apparatus offers me in my preparation for my physical tests (Combat Fitness Test and Physical Fitness Test) is truly awesome. I have been using it for ~2 weeks now for running, lunges supplemented with the Bulgarian weight bag, stair master workouts and pull-ups. I have not applied the full 40 lbs as yet, but I am working my way up to that. The comfort of the vest in addition to the options it gives you to determine the optimal weight distribution for your needs & performance goals, makes it so that the additional weight feels as natural as possible.

Amazing product. Comfortable and adjustable. Great for any functional movements. I use it for everything from running to pullups to bodybuilders. Highly recommend it
Very comfertable, Very functional
Posted by Brad on 7th Sep 2016
I had been experimenting with weight vests that were available at my gym. I loved the results but had mainly complaints about how the multiple vests in the gym wore and/or functioned. After a few hours of research and talking with an adventure racer to trains with a vest I decided on the V-Force. It was more than I wanted to spend but I am very grateful for the decision. This vest is very comfortable. This vest does very little to restrict your range of motion. There is a bit of an impact when lift straight above your head but not much. The vest is very functional in is stays relatively in place when running with it, stays out of the way when training with it and is easily customizable. Took 4-5 tries to get it to fit right but once adjusted, it is by far an away the most comfortable vest I have used. Construction is very solid and I feel this is going to last me a very long time.

I like the vest so far, still trying to decide if the single chest strap is going to work for me vice the two strap style with past vests I own.
Semi disappointed that in my order I asked if you offer a military discount or not within the order process. If not, I understand, however a reply would have been appreciated...specifically you cater to the military with the camo options.
Thank you for your time.

The best in market. Recomendable!
Great vest. Lots of mobility,
Posted by Noah on 20th Jul 2016
I am a CrossFitter and bought this vest basically to train for Murph. I wanted to work on muscle strength/stamina so the next time I complete the hero Wod I can mark it Rx. I've ran a lot with the thing on and it feels great. It doesn't slide around or feel unevenly distributed. It also has really great mobility. If you are doing any overhead work. A bit pricy but it is definitely made with the quality you know will last you a long time. Only problem i founs was that the website said it came with a removable/washable pad and my 40# vest does not have that. Oh well, still a great buy.
Great vest, worth the money
Posted by Unknown on 19th Jul 2016
Recently received this vest and took it out on the trails the other day for some hill climbing. It fits well and the weight is evenly distributed. Got a lot of compliments on it for how tough and durable it looks, it is well constructed. If you order this, get the sweat liner included! The extra padding from it is a great comfort layer.
My only gripe with it:
The weights in the front hang down so far that it makes me want to lean forward for hill climbs. I found myself having to shift the weights up (pulling down the back) for some comfort at times. This in turn made the back uncomfortable as the weight felt better higher up on my back. If there was a way to shorten the distance between the weights so they hang higher up just a little, even an inch it'd be great.
I may find myself later adding the extra 20lb attachment later, 40lbs doesn't seem like enough.
As for overhead mobility, the 3.5" width straps are great and reaching overhead I can feel them a little. It's not too much of an irritant but if you'll be doing a lot of overhead reaching, the narrower straps would be best.
Forget the rest, buy this one

I bought this for my son and I to use at crossfit. Fits great, doesn't move, looks bad ass, and has all the mobility you need for any CF movement.
I like that we are able to adjust the weight as needed. We go between 20 and 40lbs depending on the wod, this vest makes it easy to do so.
If a high quality, durable vest that looks great is what you're after, then this is it. No question.
Comfortable, adjustable vest
Posted by Unknown on 31st May 2016
Vest came just in time for Memorial Day murph.
Was very comfortable for the whole workout and fit very snugly on my chest.
The adjustable weight system was also easy to change/maintain
Would 100% recommend for any crossfitter.
Weighted vest.com vs Body Armor Sunday's at CrossFit Charlotte
Posted by andy hendel on 17th Apr 2016
Every Sunday at CrossFit Charlotte and Reebok CrossFit Charlotte we take a basic body weight workout and add the V-Force weighted vest to make it a little more interesting. Hooyah!
Haven't broken it in much
Posted by Unknown on 14th Mar 2016
Only worn it a few times, but so far so good. The back strap was a bit tough to measure alone, so have a friend help. The strap also had what looked to be loose stitching, but I'm not too worried because it still holds and it's a separate piece from the vest. Overall, good product and not a lot of bounce when running.
