Fully padded panels and shoulders make your vest as comfortable as possible.
Set your belt positions once and easily remove and put back on your vest without further adjusting. The hooks on your padded shoulders can connect to a hydration pack.

I am EXTREMELY happy with vest. I got wide shoulder pads. I am happy I chose short version, I think you can breath better for cardio. Looks very well made and sturdy, Weights easy in or out. The straps are tricky, go to Youtube for directions to get straps right. I'm using for squats, walking, stair climbing. I couldn't be happier, so far I say well worth the price. If mine were stolen or lost, I'd buy exact same V-Max short to replace it.
It is a snug fit. It does not shift. It is very sturdy and i expect it will last a long time.
The vest fits nicely and is comfortable on the shoulders.
Did a couple of short runs, a 4 hour hike, and few workouts which included double-unders, burpees, pushups,...
Way more ergonomic than my other plate-based vest. This one doesn't get in the way when hinging at waist.
Cleaning up the sweat was easy.
Upgraded to this over a decade-old Gold's Gym vest when they offered $35 for trade-in. Ran several times in 90+ degree Georgia heat, and this thing is a tank. Considerably more comfortable and compact compared to last vest. Highly recommended.
No problems or complaints. Bought it for Murph training but went with an additional ten pounds for thirty total. I thought it would be less comfortable than it is. Very good weight balance. I recommend the narrow shoulder version. Going to order another one so I don't have to haul this one through the airport when I train at my vacation home.
This vest is well constructed and all components are high quality. Finding the right level of tightness is a little tricky at first as you have to reach behind you to take the majority of slack out of the belt. Overall a great addition to my gear.
My background: Infantry Soldier in the Canadian Forces as well as private Maritime Security OCONUS
Use: I purchased this vest with the intention of putting it through some rigorous workouts as it simulated the wearing of a plate carrier without actually wearing one in public. It has held up very well and makes me wonder how much better the construction of the V-FORCE vests could be as it's marketed as being tough than the V-MAX. It has remained close and tight to my torso as I go thru the workouts and hasn't shown any sign of wear despite being used on an almost daily basis.
All in all, it functions very effectively as a training tool for those who want to simulate training in body armor without actually wearing body armor in public areas.
I bought this vest to train for the Murph WOD, I wanted something heavier than the 20lbs used in the WOD so I can train a little heavier, this 30llbs vest was just the ticket. It allows me to still move freely above my head and there is no bounce in it at all. Easy to change weights and great price.
