Shoulder width can make a big difference in your weight vest performance. Our weight vests come with three shoulder width variations, depending on the model you choose: regular, narrow , and basketball.
The 4" wide shoulders are best for maximum weight distribution across the shoulders.
The narrow weight vests have shoulders that are approximately 3-1/4" wide and are great for medium-range overhead and forward arm movements. For example, in activities that require flexibility with the arms, like hose dragging, chopping, blocking, punching and pull-up movements.
The basketball vests have shoulders with approximately 2-1/2" wide shoulders and are for full-range overhead arm movements, like rebounding and shooting without restriction.
These and other options are critical for optimum performance and training - not found in other weight vest.
