Make sure to get the 2 1/2 lb. weights. They are about 5" to 5 1/4" in diameter, see samples at the right photos.
Be sure to locate the weights before you order to make sure you can get them. The store might have to order them in. These weights must have a 1" hole, not the 2" hole! Be sure to check your store first before ordering.
This is a great way for you to have the excellent quality of the V-Max weighted vest for less money. The weights are already in your area. Not all stores carry the weights, but they can get them. Call or visit your local store and see if they are available before you buy your weight vest. Some stores say they can order the weights in, others you have to wait for the next shipment.
The 60 lb. plate vest is excellent for heavy body weight exercises, and fits very snug. A question we often get is, "Do the weights bang around in the pockets?" The answer is no. The pockets on the vest are high quality webbing that hold 50 times more weight per pocket than needed, to keep the weight plate snug in the pocket, even with running and jumping!
